A memorial of those that have passed before us. Candle light is representative of the delicateness of life as it flickers with wind, yet is strong and bright when the air is calm, which to me represents the eternal soul. There is the candle and the outstretched arms - representing the soul that has passed, saying, "I'm still here". A very calming piece with soft colours to soothe your space. The texture and layers add to the piece and give it so much interest. This painting is ready to hang and is painted on birch panel.
