This is a painting that is depicting two medieval Tuscan towns on each side of the painting, the drama between them palpable as they try to outdo each other with building up their towers (historically speaking, prominent families in each town would compete to build the tallest tower). I was inspired by this concept as I poured through my photos of Tuscany to get inspiration. This painting is ready to hang and has a 1.5" gallery profile to the quality birch panel it is painted on.
